Mixed Media Artist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Originally from upstate New York, John and his wife relocated to North Carolina 15 years ago. They now live in Surf City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John is an accomplished artist with works across the country to include Alaska and Hawaii. He has done ballet backdrops, murals, carousel animals, to mention a few projects. John works in all artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, carving, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media and airbrushing. He has had one-man exhibits, and has received many awards, and his work is many private collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When not busy on a commissioned piece, John works on new pieces in his studio. He is presently creating with charcoals on canvas. He finds it very dramatic, textural and loves the effects achieved by playing the lights against the richness of the darks that only charcoals can achieve.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
