Having opened in May of 2009, ArtExposure was custom-designed and built to support and encourage working artists and the art community of Hampstead, NC and surrounding area. In addition to housing the work of some 30 artists, artisans and photographers, ArtExposure offers a variety of amenities to its patrons as well. The 5,000 square-foot building is an active, working space with artist studios, classrooms, exhibits and generous room for gallery events.

Classes for adults and children are offered during the course of the year in a variety of media and techniques. Some of our teaching artists also provide one-on-one private instruction.
We offer a variety of courses and workshops on-site, including painting in various media, illustration, ballroom dancing, yoga, kids after-school art class, and more. The ArtExposure Gift Shop features affordable and unique hand-crafted gifts made by local artists and artisans. We also have a convenient art supplies selection on premises, which provides supplies needed for classes and makes art supplies available to the public as well.
Our In-House Frame Shop offers custom framing and matting services right on premises. Our state-of-the-art equipment, along with access to a wide selection of mouldings, gives us the flexibility to meet virtually all your framing needs. We have ready-made frames and mattes on premises for purchase as well. Can’t take it with you? Our Frame Shop would be happy to ship any piece of art for your convenience.
Studio and Wall Exhibit Space is available for lease by artists who are juried into the ArtExposure Association by a board of Association members. If you would like to be considered for a juried review of your work, please visit our Call for Entries page and follow the directions provided.
The public is welcome to watch our resident studio artists work in their studios at any time the gallery is open.
